Cafe Praise

Our contemporary worship service (9:15 AM, Sundays) is called Cafe Praise.  It is located in our Youth Building (across Tom Watson Way from the sanctuary building on Main Street).  The setting is casual.  We sit around tables rather than in pews, and there are always chairs in the back if you are just more comfortable there.  We have coffee and finger-foods for folks every Sunday. We want you to come as you are, although we do hope that you will leave with something you did not have when you arrived.

Both Pastors - John and Beverly - take turns delivering the message, and while the topics are often the same as in the traditional services, we take advantage of audio-video technologies whenever it enhances the message.

Our praise band is led by Youth Director, Aaron Talbot, and consists of both adults and youth.

We don't use bulletins, although we use the "center piece" on the tables to make sure that everyone sees important announcements, and is able to sign-up for studies, has a place to put their offering, and learn about other events.

It takes a team to make this type of worship happen in what "appears" to be an effortless and smooth manner.  If you are interested in joining a training team, just let Aaron or Pastor Beverly know about your interests.
